Speaking in Bhopal on Wednesday, the Minister also advised the <strong>Congress<\/strong> to reconsider its stance on <strong>Prime Minister Narendra Modi<\/strong> before making further criticisms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Economic Growth Under PM Modi&#8217;s Leadership<\/strong><br>Scindia highlighted the <strong>decline in inflation<\/strong> since <strong>2014<\/strong>, when it stood at <strong>8.3-9%<\/strong>. Under <strong>PM Modi<\/strong>, inflation has been brought down to <strong>4.5%<\/strong>, showing a <strong>significant improvement<\/strong> in India\u2019s economic stability. He also pointed to the <strong>unemployment rate<\/strong>, which stood at <strong>10% during the Congress-led UPA government<\/strong>, compared to a <strong>much lower 3%<\/strong> under the current NDA government.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>India\u2019s Future Economic Status<\/strong><br>According to Scindia, <strong>India&#8217;s economy<\/strong> will continue to grow under <strong>PM Modi\u2019s leadership<\/strong> and surpass <strong>Japan and Germany<\/strong> by 2027, establishing India as the <strong>third-largest economy<\/strong> in the world. He urged the <strong>Congress party<\/strong> to reflect on the past before making further critiques of <strong>PM Modi<\/strong> and the <strong>National Democratic Alliance (NDA)<\/strong> government.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Banking Sector Improvements<\/strong><br>The Minister also reflected on the state of the <strong>banking sector<\/strong> during the <strong>Congress-led UPA<\/strong> era, citing a <strong>rise in non-performing assets (NPAs)<\/strong>, which had reached <strong>11%<\/strong>. In contrast, under <strong>PM Modi<\/strong>, the <strong>NPA ratio<\/strong> has been reduced to <strong>2.6%<\/strong>, signaling a <strong>clean-up of bank balance sheets<\/strong> and a more <strong>stable financial environment<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Scindia&#8217;s Visit to Bhopal<\/strong><br>Scindia had arrived in <strong>Bhopal<\/strong> to attend a <strong>wedding function<\/strong>. During his visit, he also met with <strong>Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel<\/strong> at <strong>Raj Bhavan<\/strong> and <strong>former home minister Narottam Mishra<\/strong> at his residence.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With these statements, Scindia emphasized that <strong>India&#8217;s economic trajectory<\/strong> is firmly set on a path of <strong>growth and stability<\/strong>, reinforcing the success of <strong>PM Modi\u2019s policies<\/strong> in rejuvenating the country&#8217;s economy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>India is set to surpass Japan and Germany to become the world\u2019s third-largest economy by 2027, according to Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia.
