{"id":5787,"date":"2025-11-18T08:23:38","date_gmt":"2025-11-18T08:23:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/channel1.in\/index.php\/2025\/11\/18\/delhi-air-quality-dips-to-very-poor-four-stations-record-severe-pollution-levels\/"},"modified":"2025-11-18T08:23:38","modified_gmt":"2025-11-18T08:23:38","slug":"delhi-air-quality-dips-to-very-poor-four-stations-record-severe-pollution-levels","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/channel1.in\/index.php\/2025\/11\/18\/delhi-air-quality-dips-to-very-poor-four-stations-record-severe-pollution-levels\/","title":{"rendered":"Delhi Air Quality Dips to \u2018Very Poor\u2019; Four Stations Record \u2018Severe\u2019 Pollution Levels"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Delhiites woke up to another day of toxic air on Tuesday, with the national capital\u2019s overall Air Quality Index (AQI) slipping into the <strong>\u2018very poor\u2019<\/strong> category at <strong>344<\/strong>, according to data released by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).<\/p>\n<p>Out of the <strong>37 monitoring stations<\/strong> across the city, four recorded AQI levels in the <strong>\u2018severe\u2019<\/strong> range:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Bawana: 426<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Wazirpur: 412<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Jahangirpuri: 418<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Vivek Vihar: 402<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The CPCB forecast indicates that the air quality is likely to <strong>remain in the \u2018very poor\u2019 category<\/strong> over the next few days due to unfavourable meteorological conditions.<\/p>\n<p>As per CPCB standards, an AQI of:<\/p>\n<p> 0\u201350 is \u201cgood\u201d,<\/p>\n<p> 51\u2013100 \u201csatisfactory\u201d,<\/p>\n<p> 101\u2013200 \u201cmoderate\u201d,<\/p>\n<p> 201\u2013300 \u201cpoor\u201d,<\/p>\n<p> 301\u2013400 \u201cvery poor\u201d, and<\/p>\n<p> 401\u2013500 \u201csevere\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Weather Update:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> The city recorded a <strong>minimum temperature of 9.6\u00b0C<\/strong>, which is <strong>2.7\u00b0C below the season\u2019s average<\/strong>.
