Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of Opposition in Bihar, faced detention in Patna on Wednesday while leading a protest march against police actions during NEET paper leak protests. Yadav’s detention occurred near the Income Tax office, confirmed SSP Kartikeya K Sharma. As police officers escorted him into a vehicle, Yadav voiced his concerns, stating, “The government is pushing the future of students into darkness. Exam papers are getting leaked frequently.”
This protest march organized by the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) included students and party supporters who walked from JP Golambar to Lok Bhavan in a show of solidarity against perceived governmental negligence.
