Ramban, September 23: In a tragic incident, two police officers lost their lives inside a car at Ziarat Morh in the Sana area of Batote tehsil, Ramban district, on Tuesday evening. The unsettling discovery occurred around 8:30 PM when locals stumbled upon the unconscious officers in a Fiat Linea (registration number JK-19/5299).
After finding the officers unresponsive, locals swiftly transported them to the District Hospital Ramban. Upon arrival, medical staff confirmed their death, worsening the grief and shock felt by the community.
The deceased have been identified as Head Constable Farid Ahmed, identified with the badge number 408/Rbn, hailing from Bhatti Ramban, and Selection Grade Constable Muhammad Yaqoob, with badge number 309/Rbn, who resided in Jatgali Ramban. Both were serving at the District Police Lines (DPL) in Ramban.
